Nigel Xavier is a 29-year old fashion designer from Atlanta. He won the second season of Next in Fashion by displaying his amazing craftsman’s ship and technique. He specialises in designing streetwear pieces and his main focus is patchwork. 

 I look up to this designer as an inspiration, not only because his work in immaculate and seamless but also because he had a late start in fashion. Nigel’s journey started late in high school, after denying football scholarships. His work started from up-cycling his own clothing. For me, this is inspiring as it’s the same way I have also come to love textiles and fashion.
